This year we were very fortunate to have Xiaoya Xia and Jaskirat Singh for our Google Season of Docs students. Their massive contributions toward documenting aspects of the CHAOSS community will have a large and long-lasting impact.

Both students will be appearing on an upcoming edition of CHAOSScast, so keep your eyes and ears open for this if you’d like to hear more about their journey as a CHAOSS GSOD student. Reminder: Catch Meetings You Miss Through CHAOSStube and Meeting Minutes

Life is hectic, and CHAOSS has a lot of meetings available to attend. And we know that the stars don’t always align to allow you to attend the meetings you care about here. But have no fear! There are still a few ways you can participate asynchronously, and during a time that works better for you.
  1. You can attend meetings you missed by subscribing to our YouTube channel, CHAOSStube (https://www.youtube.com/c/CHAOSStube/). We post all meetings, usually either the same or next day, so you’re never far behind. Transcriptions and translations are provided by YouTube, if that’s helpful.
  2. You can read the meeting minutes and notes, which are linked individually on our calendar, but I’ll start linking them below in the “Upcoming Meetings” section as well.  If you have comments or agenda items, you can add those thoughts asynchronously there.
  3. You can also comment on GitHub issues that spark your interest, or open your own if there’s something you like to bring up for discussion at the next meeting.

Your voice and ideas are important to us, and we value your input greatly!

No Meetings December 21-January 3

At the last CHAOSS weekly community meeting, we decided to cancel all meetings from December 21, 2020 through January 3, 2021. Regular meetings will resume on January 4 after we’ve sent a very long and unruly 2020 out the door!
