Successful Grace Hopper Open Source Day!
We had the opportunity to take part in Grace Hopper Conference’s first virtual Open Source Day through the Augur project, and it was a rousing success! We were able to include more first-time contributors than we ever have in the past. A big thank you goes out to Srishti Guleria for assisting as a mentor, and Sean Goggins for guiding the way. We hope to continue our participation in future GHC Open Source Day events!
CHAOSScast Episode #39: Leaderboards and Metrics at Drupal.org with Matthew Tift and Tim Lehnen
This week we were delighted to host Matthew Tift and Tim Lehnen from the Drupal project on CHAOSScast. Host Georg Link and panelist Nicole Huesman joined Matthew and Tim to discuss all the amazing work Drupal has done to improve community health, inclusivity and engagement, and the potential pitfalls of using leaderboards as measures to track contributions. They also talked about how to measure non-code contributions and tracking and measuring corporate sponsorship and influence. This was a great episode that you can listen to here: https://podcast.chaoss.community/39.
