Holiday Meeting Schedule
Beginning next week, we will have some changes to our CHAOSS calendar. Make sure you keep up to date by visiting the CHAOSS Calendar page or subscribing to the calendar.

- December 11, 2023-January 8, 2024: All meetings canceled
We hold fast to this end-of-year meeting break so that our community can refresh and reset. If anyone in the community would like to keep working asynchronously through Slack, that’s completely fine! Just keep in mind that response time from your peers may be delayed.
Metrics Models to ISO Standards – Volunteers Needed
CHAOSS is working with the Linux Foundation to submit some of our Metrics Models as ISO Standards. Before we can do that, we need to reformat them to align more with the ISO formatting. This is a perfect example of a contribution that a newcomer can make. If you’d like to help with this project, let Matt Germonprez or Elizabeth Barron know.
CHAOSScon Registration Open and Schedule Released
As mentioned last week, the schedule for CHAOSScon has been released, and registration is now open! This one-day conference happens February 1, 2024, in Brussels, Belgium. It will be 2 days prior to FOSDEM and will be held at the nearby Bedford Hotel and Congress Centre. Tickets for this one-day conference are only $10USD, so we highly encourage you to spend the day with us, if you’re nearby!

CHAOSS Onboarding Courses – Volunteers Needed
CHAOSS is building out its Onboarding courses and is looking for volunteers who would like to help with this project! We are looking for a variety of contributions, and newcomers are absolutely welcome to help! There is no one better suited to helping build out this project than those who it’s meant for. We highly encourage you to help us review content and identify any gaps we might be missing. If you’re interested in helping with this, we ask that you complete this interest form. You can also join these conversations in the #education channel on Slack. Please join us!
