Getting Started with Open Source Software – Webinar Series from CHAOSS Africa
Ruth Ikegah and the CHAOSS Africa community hosted the first webinar in a series explaining how to get involved in contributing to open source software. With over 100 participants, this webinar turned out to be very helpful for our newcomers to open source! Reminder! Schedule is Published for CHAOSScon NA 2023
The CHAOSScon planning committee has released the schedule for CHAOSScon NA 2023, to be held in the afternoon of May 9, 2023 in conjunction with Open Source Summit North America in Vancouver BC, Canada. You can view the schedule here.
In-person registration is $20 USD and registration for OSSNA is a pre-requisite. Live streaming will be available for free, but registration for OSSNA virtual is required. You can register for both events on the OSSNA registration page. Sponsorship is also available, so if you’re interested in sponsoring, feel free to reach out.

Because some of our core community members will be at CHAOSScon NA 2023, either in person or virtually, we are canceling the day of meetings for May 9, 2023. CHAOSS community members are encouraged to participate in CHAOSScon NA virtually instead, by registering and lingering in our #chaosscon Slack channel that day.
